So much to say, so much to do and my greatest concern is where to start. My quest to be thinner, less, "fluffy", has been set aside lately. I have been attending a leadership class through Kern County Network for Children and am loving every moment of it. I am learning where I am strong and where I am weak and how to patch the leaks, ha, that rhymed. I love community service and truly believe if you have a heart to serve your community, you should do so and the rewards are great. It is an awesome feeling to do more for others than yourself. What can you do for your community, how can you be a vested contributor? Believe me, to give back is like nothing else.
School has been a huge burden and each class I take and yes, sometimes fail, shows me my weaknesses and I do not like to be made aware of my weaknesses. I am not someone who enjoys studying, but I love learning by doing, by submerging myself and diving head first in to the situation. My home plagues me at every turn. I do not want to have all of this, "stuff" anymore and yet, I hold on to it for some odd reason, so I need to purge at every turn. I plan to start with my office. Organization is key and I will have it organized and clean.
Finances are the worst.Time to debt stack and start seriously stacking and paying off these bills. Time to seriously take the reigns back from, "my stuff", and be the boss of my future. Make a mental list of the order of importance in your life and be realistic. What is your #1 and how do you attain the direction your heading in? Control your money and do not let the money control you. Write everything down and it will appall you how much a person can waste in just a weak. Believe me, I just did it and I am ticked at myself. Healthy mind, healthy body. I am working on that. People always ask how I make a difference? Change the way you think. Start with your mind, your inner self and ask how you can be the difference to yourself and to those you effect. Start at home first, thats where I am starting.
On this Memorial Day weekend, remember the lives who have been taken to protect the freedoms we enjoy daily. For freedom is not free; someone has paid the ultimate price; their lives.
God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!
